France: back-to-school allowance (ARS) 2026 amounts
For the 2026 school year the ARS (allocation de rentrée scolaire) paid by the CAF is, per child:

| 6 to 10 | EUR 426.87 |
| 11 to 14 | EUR 450.41 |
| 15 to 18 | EUR 466.02 |
For 2025 the amounts were EUR 423.48, EUR 446.85 and EUR 462.33.
What to tell clients
- Quote the 2026 figures above. Check the age rule on the CAF page, because age is counted at 31 December.
